About Course

Basic Life Support (BLS) is available in two different training methods – blended learning and classroom training. This course is Classroom Training Only. The BLS course teaches AHA science-based skills and upon successful completion, the student will receive an official AHA BLS Course Completion Card, valid for two (2) years. Students will learn Basic Life Support (BLS) skills to include how to respond in a life-threatening emergencies using CPR with a Bag Valve Mask (BVM) and an AED. This course meets all workplace, education, healthcare and OSHA requirements.

The AHA’s BLS Course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility settings. It is primarily geared towards prehospital providers, like EMTs, paramedics, fire fighters, hospital providers; however, it is open to everyone. This course welcome those in construction, law enforcement, education, or in the military. All participants will gain the knowledge and confidence needed to respond to a life-threatening medical emergencies in your workplace.
